Where We Are Based
Xplore English is based in the city of George, South Africa. It is a coastal city in the Garden Route region, located approximately halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
To the north is the Outeniqua Mountain range and the Indian Ocean lies to the South, making it a popular destination for hikers, runners, mountain bikers and surfers.
The history of the city stretches back to the 18th and 19th centuries, when it was established as a result of the demand for timber and wood used in building, transport and furniture.
Today, George is growing rapidly and has all of the modern amenities you’d expect to find, including a shopping mall, multi-screen cinema and many restaurants and bars.
